Dakota Wesleyan University's final Christmas concert of the season is set for Friday.
"Service of Lessons and Carols" will be at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9, at Holy Family Parish, Mitchell. This concert will feature Christmas hymns, carols and Scripture readings and is free and open to the public.
Performing Friday will be the Wesleyan Bells, the Highlanders, Women's Chamber Choir, the Singing Scotchmen and the Dakota Wesleyan Choir.
Some of the pieces by the DWU ensembles will include: "Twelfth Night," "In the Bleak Midwinter," "Sing Alleluia, Allelu" and "Mary, Did You Know," among others.
The congregation will be invited to join in the singing for "O Come, All Ye Faithful," "Silent Night" and "What Child is This."
