DSU awards Champion Scholarships

Tate Deinert, a senior at Mount Vernon High School, and Kyle Weier, a senior at Mitchell High School, were recently awarded the Dakota State University Champion Scholarships.

Tate Deinert, a senior at Mount Vernon High School, and Kyle Weier, a senior at Mitchell High School, were recently awarded the Dakota State University Champion Scholarships.

Deinert will be attending DSU in Madison in the fall to pursue a degree in mathematics education. He is the son of Darcy and Terry Deinert, of Mount Vernon

Weier will be attending DSU to pursue a degree in computer science. He is the son of Becky Weier, of Mitchell.

The scholarship is awarded to high-achieving students, based on ACT scores and high school GPA.
