Doris Darlene Breiholz, 77, Albert Lea, Minn., died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at St. John's Lutheran Home, Albert Lea.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Albert Lea. Funeral services will start at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bayview-Freeborn Funeral Home, Albert Lea.
She was born on March 16, 1931, in Kimball to Eman and Elsie Maresh.
She grew up in Kimball, where she attended high school. She later graduated from Yankton College with a teaching degree.

On June 1, 1958, she married Robert Breholz in Ames, Iowa.
She was an elementary school teacher in Ames for several years.
The family lived in Sleepy Eye, Minn., from 1968 until 2001, when they moved to Albert Lea.
A published freelance writer of children's stories, she also made and sold crafts on consignment.
She was a member of GFWC Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband, three children: Scott and wife Peggy, Forest, Va.; Todd and wife Sheryl, Woodbury, Minn.; and Jody Kirchner and husband Brad, Albert Lea; six grandchildren, a sister, Marlene McGregor and husband Pat; two brothers: Robert Maresh and wife Judy; and Milford Maresh and wife June, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harold Maresh.
