Donald Callies, 83, Howard, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at the Howard Good Samaritan Society.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. today at Willoughby Funeral Home, Howard. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today until the time of the service. Interment, with military burial rites, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Howard.
He is survived by two daughters: Wendy Lewis and husband Carl, Iowa Falls, Iowa; Wanda Callies, Howard; three sons: Rick and Darwin, both of Howard; and Scott and wife Mary, Mitchell; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Leila Rasmussen; Geraldine Genzlinger and a brother, Delmar, all of Howard.
