More than $1,000 in cash was stolen from a vehicle in the southern part of Mitchell overnight Thursday into Friday.

The Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers said between 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday, an unknown person or persons entered a vehicle in the 3200 block of South Rowley Street and took the cash from a vehicle.

Anyone with information regarding this crime or any others is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 996-1700. Callers do not have to identify themselves and cash rewards are available for information that leads to an arrest of the subject or subjects involved.
