A Tyndall woman is wanted for allegedly assaulting an attorney on Monday.

A warrant for the arrest of 58-year-old Miriam Leibel was issued Tuesday for two charges of aggravated assault, a Class 3 felony, against Scott Swier, who has six law offices in the area.

The indictment filed against Leibel alleges she caused or attempted to cause bodily injury to Swier with a dangerous weapon and that she used the weapon to put him in fear of serious harm.

Court documents do not include details of the alleged assault, and officers with the Bon Homme County Sheriff's Office who responded to the incident were unavailable for comment Friday.

The arrest warrant signed by Judge Cheryle Gering set a $10,000 cash-only bond for Leibel and stipulates that if she makes bond, she would be required to stay 1,000 feet away from Swier's law office in Avon.
