MURDO —A Murdo man was arrested Jan. 23 for allegedly threatening to shoot a woman.
Gabriel "Harvey" Jacobs, 46, is charged with aggravated assault, a Class 3 felony, and possession of a firearm by a person with a prior misdemeanor conviction involving domestic violence, a Class 1 misdemeanor.
Murdo police and the Jones County Sheriff's Office were contacted at 4:22 a.m. about the alleged threat, according to court documents. Jacobs was reportedly arrested at gunpoint at his home.
If convicted of both charges, Jacobs faces up to 16 years in prison.
