SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Police say a 19-year-old man is being sought as a person of interest in the abduction of a 20-year-old woman in the early morning hours of Sunday, Jan. 5, as she left a business in far eastern Sioux Falls.

Police are seeking the whereabouts of Amir Hasan Beaudion Jr., who is accused of possibly taking Pasqalina Esen Badi against her will. She was last seen leaving a business in a strip mall in the 5500 block of Arrowhead Parkway about 5 a.m. walking to her car. The car was then seen driving away.

A few hours later the vehicle was found nearby on Foss Avenue.

Badi is described as a black woman, about 5-foot-2 and 115 pounds. She was wearing a black jacket with a gray hood and stripes on the sleeves with dark pants and white shoes.

Police didn't release a description of Beaudion but did release his photograph.

Anyone who sees Beaudion or Badi is asked to call 911.
