The following cases were among those heard Tuesday during a felony court session at the Davison County Public Safety Center.

  • Jacob Timmerman, 24, of Lennox, pleaded not guilty to intentional property damage between $5,000 and $100,000, a Class 4 felony which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in the state penitentiary and a $20,000 fine; A hit and run causing property damage, a Class 1 misdemeanor which carries a maximum penalty of one year in the county jail and a $2,000 fine; And failure to provide proof of insurance, a Class 2 misdemeanor which carries a maximum penalty of 30 days in jail and a $500 fine; Jury trial scheduled for Feb. 10.
  • Rebecca Haines, 23, of Niles, Michigan, pleaded guilty to possession of hash wax, a Class 5 felony which carries a maximum penalty of five years in the state penitentiary and a $10,000 fine; Court granted a suspended imposition of sentence; Sentenced to two years probation; Must pay a $1,000 fine, $120 in prosecution costs and $106.50 in court costs.
  • John Devlin, 29, of Niles, Michigan, pleaded guilty to possession of hash wax, a Class 5 felony; Court granted a suspended imposition of sentence; Sentenced to two years probation; Must pay a $1,000 fine, $120 in prosecution costs and $106.50 in court costs.
  • Jordan Buchholz, 22, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to possession of alprazolam, a Class 6 felony which carries a maximum penalty of two years in the state penitentiary and a $4,000 fine; Court granted a suspended imposition of sentence; Sentenced to two years probation; Must pay a $750 fine, $106.50 in court costs and $41.71 in prosecution costs.
  • Mack Saxon Jr., 32, of Mitchell, pleaded not guilty to possession of a controlled substance in schedules I or II, a Class 5 felony; Impersonation with intent to deceive a law enforcement officer, a Class 1 misdemeanor; And possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class 2 misdemeanor; Jury trial scheduled for Feb. 10.
  • Joseph Davis, 27, of Mitchell, pleaded not guilty to possession of hash wax, a Class 5 felony; Jury trial scheduled for Feb. 10.
  • Asany Calvo, 31, of Madison, Nebraska, pleaded guilty to misprision of a felony, a Class 1 misdemeanor; Sentenced to 120 days in jail suspended; Must pay $3,164.67 in restitution jointly and severally and $86.50 in court costs; Must repay court-appointed attorney's fees.
  • Kevin Hughes, 57, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to simple assault, a Class 1 misdemeanor; Court granted a suspended imposition of sentence; Must pay a $500 fine and $86.50 in court costs; Must repay court-appointed attorney's fees.
  • Charles Holiday, 31, of Dante, pleaded guilty to a third-offense DUI, a Class 6 felony; Sentenced to two years in the state penitentiary suspended and two years probation; Driving privileges revoked for one year; Must pay a $750 fine, $145 in prosecution costs; $106.50 in court costs and a $50 DUI surcharge; Must repay court-appointed attorney's fees.
  • Josiah Sinkie, 37, of Mitchell, was sentenced to five years in the state penitentiary with two years suspended and credit for 144 days served for violating probation for a previous conviction of possession of a controlled substance in schedules I or II, a Class 5 felony; Sentenced consecutively to two years in the state penitentiary with credit for 165 days served for violating probation for previous convictions of possession of more than two ounces and less than one half pound of marijuana, a Class 6 felony; And carrying a handgun without a permit, a Class 1 misdemeanor; Must repay all previously ordered amounts; Sentenced concurrently to five years in the state penitentiary with credit for 127 days served for possession of a controlled substance in schedules I or II; Must pay $141.30 in restitution and $106.50 in court costs; Must repay court-appointed attorney's fees.
  • Rosemma Mosley, 20, of Shakopee, Minnesota, pleaded guilty to ingesting a substance other than alcohol for the purpose of becoming intoxicated, a Class 1 misdemeanor; Court granted a suspended imposition of sentence; Must pay a $500 fine, $137.57 in prosecution costs and $86.50 in court costs.
  • Ty Saxe, 19, of Shakopee, Minnesota, pleaded guilty to ingesting a substance other than alcohol for the purpose of becoming intoxicated, a Class 1 misdemeanor; Court granted a suspended imposition of sentence; Must pay a $500 fine, $155.15 in prosecution costs and $86.50 in court costs.
  • Gabriel Castaneda, 20, of Wildomar, California, pleaded guilty to ingesting a substance other than alcohol for the purpose of becoming intoxicated, a Class 1 misdemeanor; Court granted a suspended imposition of sentence; Must pay a $500 fine, $137.57 in prosecution costs and $86.50 in court costs.
  • Heather Embry, 44, of Mitchell, pleaded not guilty to possession of a controlled substance in schedules I or II, a Class 5 felony; Unauthorized ingestion of a controlled substance in schedules I or II, a Class 5 felony; Possession of two ounces of marijuana or less, a Class 1 misdemeanor; And possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class 2 misdemeanor; Jury trial scheduled for Feb. 10.
  • Darcy Schleder, 32, admitted to violating probation for a previous conviction of possession of a controlled substance in schedules I or II, a Class 5 felony; Sentenced to five years in the state penitentiary suspended with credit for 69 days served and four years probation; Must repay all previously ordered amounts; Must repay court-appointed attorney's fees.
  • Jami Lewis, 40, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance in schedules I or II, a Class 5 felony; Status hearing scheduled for Jan. 7.
  • Keith Babby, 41, of Mitchell, pleaded not guilty to a first-offense DUI, a Class 1 misdemeanor; Jury trial scheduled for Feb. 10.
  • Calvin Shangreaux III, 36, of Rapid City, pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary, a Class 5 felony; Sentencing scheduled for Jan. 7.
  • Linsey Linn, 27, of Lemars, Iowa, pleaded guilty to a first-offense DUI, a Class 1 misdemeanor; Court granted a suspended imposition of sentence; Must pay a $500 fine, $145 in prosecution costs, $86.50 in court costs and a $50 DUI surcharge; Must repay court-appointed attorney's fees.
  • Wesley Swan, 35, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to making unreasonable noise, a Class 2 misdemeanor; Sentenced to 30 days in the county jail with 27 days suspended and credit for three days served; Must pay a $200 fine and $68.50 in court costs; Must repay court-appointed attorney's fees.
