Man with tattoo of a gun on his forehead gets arrested for illegally possessing a firearm

GREENVILLE, N.C.—A South Carolina man who has a tattoo of a gun on his forehead was arrested for illegally possessing a firearm, among other charges, police said.

Michael Vines, of Greenville, S.C., allegedly tossed a fully-loaded Smith & Wesson .38-caliber revolver onto the grass after getting in a car wreck recently, according to a post on the Greenville Police Department's Facebook page.

Police were tipped off to the crime by the Greenville Fire Department after a group of nearby firefighters witnessed Vines tossing the gun away.

Vines has been charged with driving under a suspended license, driving too fast for conditions and unlawful carrying of a firearm.
