This year's Corn Palace Festival lineup will include new and familiar faces, officials announced Wednesday.
Judd Hoos, Styx, Gary Allan and Happy Together are slated to perform at this year's festival, which is scheduled for Aug. 24-28 in Mitchell.
According to Corn Palace officials, Sturgis-based rock band Judd Hoos will kick off the festival with an outdoor concert at the freedom stage on Aug. 25, a Thursday. Rock band Styx and country music star Gary Allan are tentatively scheduled to follow the next two days, respectively, with Happy Together likely wrapping up this year's festival shows on Aug. 28. The Happy Together tour includes names like The Turtles, Mark Lindsay, Gary Puckett, Chuck Negron, The Cowsills and Spencer Davis Group.
Ticket sales, lineup dates and concert times will be released on March 17.
