The city of Mitchell will begin enforcement of the sidewalk snow removal ordinance this week.
All sidewalks abutting a resident’s property shall be cleared of snow and ice. Those failing to do so may be subject to having sidewalks cleared at $75 for the first 50 feet, plus $1 per foot over 50 feet by the city.
