CHESTER (AP) -- An educator with more than 40 years of experience is retiring from the Chester Area School District.

KELO-TV reports that Faith Stratton is retiring as principal of the Chester Area School District's elementary school.

Stratton has spent four decades working as a teacher and administrator for the district.

Stratton says she plans to spend her time helping with her grandchildren's school and writing grants.
