Business name: FARR Technologies.
Location: Virtual offices. All employees work from their homes. This is the age of work from home businesses and entrepreneurship. Brick and mortar are not nearly as important they were 10 years ago. The increase in broadband capabilities have lessened the need for a walled office or cubicle based business.
Hours: Whatever it takes to serve our customers. Our clients require nothing less than full commitment to their needs. We strive to provide that commitment at all times, whether it is before 8 a.m. or after 5 p.m. or being on a client's site whenever they need our assistance.
Years in business: Two-plus years. The business formed in October 2012.
Key people: All FARR employees are key people in the company and the most important reason FARR has had immediate successes in the consulting business, which is a very competitive market. The four principal owners are David Fridley, Steven Angerhofer, Bryan Rearick and Peter Rasmusson. All of our other 20-plus employees are experienced veterans of the broadband industry who bring the same passion for quality. This group of talented individuals are the key to the success of the business.
