RAPID CITY (AP) - Authorities are searching for two suspects who robbed a Rapid City store and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash after getting shot at as they fled.
Rapid City police say two men used a gun Wednesday night to demand money from the store's cash register. As they fled the store, a bystander in the parking lot fired two shots from a handgun at the suspects.
Authorities don't believe the suspects were hit by the gunfire. Police weren't able to find the two men with a K-9 unit, but they did recover a plastic airsoft gun.
Police are asking people with information about the robbery to come forward.
