Becky's Vans is officially out of business.

Mitchell resident Robert Phillips purchased the company in September and will operate the taxi service under a new name.

"We are going to get out and try and do a better service," Phillips said.

The new service will operate under the name of Express Cab Service, LLC. According to Phillips, fares will be $5 per ride and he has two cabs ready for service. The phone number that was previously used for Becky's Vans will remain the same. The phone number to reach Express Cab Service, LLC is 605-770-5613.

Becky's Vans announced it would no longer be in business on Wednesday and apologized for "any inconvenience."
