PLANKINTON - An old barn was destroyed in a fire Sunday afternoon near Plankinton.
Authorities were called to a structural fire near 393rd Avenue and 248th Street - or approximately seven miles northeast of Plankinton - Sunday afternoon, according to the Aurora County Sheriff's Department.
Nobody was injured, and Briggs said Sunday the cause was unknown. The Plankinton Fire Department and the Aurora County Sheriff's Department were both on scene.
No other information was immediately available.
