Dr. Jesse Barondeau, FAAP, will join Avera Medical Group Family Health Center on Monday, on the Avera Grassland Health Campus, Mitchell.
Barondeau will provide pediatric and adolescent medical care for patients, with a focus on sports medicine, behavioral health and development of teenagers. He also brings considerable experience and will be the only physician in the state to hold an adolescent medicine board certification.
He earned his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and is board certified in both pediatrics and adolescent medicine. A South Dakota native, Barondeau served for 11 years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, with a focus on pediatrics and adolescent medicine.
Bardoneau and his wife, Jami, a native of Emery, have two daughters and a son.
