WAGNER - Plans are being finalized for the upcoming annual student-run Veterans Day Program at the Wagner High School. The program is set for 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Wagner High School Theater.
Included in this year’s program is Steve Feimer, author of a soon to be released book, “Vietnam Veterans Still Coming Home: Their Stories in Their Words.” The book contains interviews with 32 Vietnam War veterans and chronicles their lives before, during and after the Vietnam War.
Feimer is a native of Yankton and an associate professor of public administration and director of criminal justice studies at the University of South Dakota.
A lunch will be served following the presentation to provide an opportunity for socializing time for veterans and the public.
