ARMOUR - An Armour city building caught on fire early Friday morning, officials said, and the cause is still unknown.
At approximately 4:15 a.m., the Armour Fire Department was called to a fire at the city maintenance shop on Main Street in Armour, according to Fire Chief Travis Sparks.
The building sustained "a lot" of smoke and heat damage, Sparks said, but is not completely destroyed. The fire department was on scene for approximately two hours, and firefighters returned to the station by 6:30 a.m.
The point of origin is still under investigation, Sparks said. Nobody was injured in the fire.
