Authorities confirmed a local youth died in an accident Monday afternoon in rural Aurora County.
Aurora County Deputy Roman Briggs said the incident is still under investigation, but believes the male, whose name he declined to provide because he is a juvenile, was on a piece of farmland in between Corsica and Stickney around 4:15 p.m. Monday, when a large panel fell on him. Briggs declined to provide further details, pending the investigation.
Corsica Ambulance, Stickney first responders, Aurora County Sheriff's Department, and the Douglas County Sheriff's Department all responded.
