The following Mitchell offices and services will have schedule changes in observance of Memorial Day:
• Dakota Wesleyan University will be closed on Monday. All offices and the McGovern Library will be closed. Regular campus office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The McGovern Library will be closed today through Monday. The library will reopen Tuesday,with summer hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and closed on the weekends. Java City will be closed all summer and reopen when classes are back in session.
• Mitchell Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday. Summer hours will begin on Tuesday and are as follows: Monday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, closed.
• Garbage will be picked up one day later than the normal schedule. The city will be collecting garbage Tuesday through June 4 for the holiday week. Dependable Recycling will follow the same schedule.
• City of Mitchell Regional Landfill will be closed Monday. The compost drop-off site will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.

• Mitchell Technical Institute will be closed Monday. Regular summer office hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. will resume Tuesday.
