PIERRE (AP) - Attorney General Marty Jackley says a 31-year-old Eureka man wanted on an arrest warrant was killed when a pursuit by law enforcement officers ended with a head-on collision near Selby.
Jackley says Destin Bray was charged in a warrant issued Thursday with two counts of rape in the first degree, two counts of aggravated incest and one count of sexual contact with a child under sixteen.
He says the South Dakota Highway Patrol was serving an active warrant Friday afternoon when a pursuit ensued, ending in Bray hitting a semi-truck head-on.
The Walworth County Sheriff's Office is handling the crash investigation. The results of the investigation will be reviewed by the Walworth County Sheriff's Office and the Attorney General's Office.
