Jim Abdnor toured South Dakota relentlessly during and after his career in politics. So it's appropriate that his funeral services will be held at three locations in the state.
There will be a visitation with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service at 6 p.m., at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Pierre at the Lutheran Memorial Church, where Sen. John Thune will deliver the eulogy.
Burial services will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kennebec Cemetery in the Abdnor family plot, followed by a reception in the school gymnasium.
