The presence of the Mitchell Police Division could be seen in the 500 block of North Main Street in Mitchell Sunday morning following a deadly shooting that occurred late Saturday night. According to a press release from the division, law enforcement responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 11:07 p.m. Saturday night. The victim, who has not yet been identified by law enforcement, was pronounced dead at the scene.
