9-year-old missing child returns home in Mitchell

A 9-year-old girl went missing Wednesday from the 1200 block of East Third Avenue, but returned home hours later, according to the Mitchell Department of Public Safety.

A 9-year-old girl went missing Wednesday from the 1200 block of East Third Avenue, but returned home hours later, according to the Mitchell Department of Public Safety.

Authorities sent an alert at 8:13 p.m. stating Isabelle Buss left home at approximately 5 p.m. and did not return. 

At 8:35 p.m., an alert was sent that Buss had returned home.
