LAKE ANDES - Two individuals were elected to three-year terms on the Andes Central School Board on Tuesday.

Incumbent Tammy Swanson and challenger Michael Dangel were voted to the open seats. Swanson received 79 votes, while Dangel received 66 votes. Eugene Longe and Candance Dvorak received 31 and 29 votes, respectively.

A total of 109 voters cast ballots in the election, and the school district recorded a 7.7 percent turnout.

Swanson and Dangel will be sworn into their positions on July 8.
