Crime Stoppers seeking tips on break-ins
The Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers is seeking help investigating four vehicle break-ins this week in the city.
Authorities reported that a vehicle was forcibly broken into Tuesday in a parking lot at 1500 N. Duff St., where a flower print turquoise bag and two pairs of shoes were among the items taken, valued at $100. In the overnight hours Wednesday, three other vehicles were forcibly entered. A toolbox was stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of North Wisconsin Street, and vehicles in the 300 block of West 13th Avenue and the 500 block of West 10th were also broken into.
Crime Stoppers is seeking information for these crimes. For those with information, tipsters can call 996-1700. A cash reward is available if tips lead to the arrest of the subject or subjects involved.
