WINNER - A 19-year-old man was arrested for ingesting THC after police found him lying in the middle of a Winner road.

Shortly before midnight on Jan. 23, Winner police officers were on patrol and witnessed a male fall down in the middle of the road and not get up, according to court documents.

Officers approached the man, 19-year-old Dixon resident Talon Eagle Hawk, and as he stood up he allegedly smelled of alcohol and was swaying.

Officers placed Eagle Hawk under arrest for minor in consumption, and a urine test was positive for THC. Eagle Hawk was charged with unauthorized ingestion of a controlled drug, a Class 6 felony, punishable upon conviction by up to two years in prison and a $4,000 fine.
