PIERRE (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 17-year-old girl killed in a one-vehicle crash in Pierre.
The Highway Patrol says Kalle Jackson of Pierre failed to negotiate a turn early Tuesday and the car she was driving hit a light pole. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Highway Patrol says Jackson was the only one in the car, and she was wearing a seat belt.
