SIOUX FALLS — Law enforcement officials said Friday night that an 11-year-old girl who was believed to be endangered or missing from Sioux Falls was found safe.
Nakia Jackson had been reported missing around 7 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 in the area of Jaycee Lane and North Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls, near the Sioux Falls Regional Airport. The girl had left her home on foot at about 6:20 a.m. on Thursday after an argument.
The Sioux Falls Police Department said Friday that Jackson was found safe and an investigation is ongoing.
