YANKTON -- Mitchell’s Adaya Plastow earned a 15th-place finish at Thursday’s Yankton Invitational at Yankton’s Fox Run Golf Course. No team points were kept.
Plastow covered the 5,000-meter run in 20-minutes and :30.16 seconds. Pierce, Nebraska’s Alexus Sindelar clocked in at 18:28.71 for the individual title.
For the Mitchell boys, Lucas Moller finished in 16th place in 17:09.21 (personal record). Pierce’s Mason Sindelar was the individual medalist in 15:27.79.
On the girls side, Mitchell’s Adelyn Prunty (21:58.44) and Kennedy Olsen (22:34.59) finished 24th and 30th, respectively. Kernel runners Lindsay Andersern (23:01.33) and Anna Driscoll (23:59.27) placed 32nd and 34th, respectively.
On the boys side, Mitchell’s Max Hart (18:13.78) and Nate McCormick (18:35.38) finished 25th and 31st, respectively. Kernel runners Brock Russell (18:48.82) and Carter Moller (19:05.90) placed 32nd and 33rd, respectively. Hart, McCormick, Russell and Carter Moller also logged personal-record times.
