Twenty-one children attended the recent Davison County Farmers Union Day Camp, which focused on financial literacy.

Along with activities, games and singing, each child decorated their own wooden bank as a craft to promote saving money and listened to a presentation on electric safety given by Jenny Wolff from the East River Electric Power Cooperative. Each child also received a free T-shirt.

Participants at this year's Davison County Farmers Union Day Camp were Caleb Richter, Shea Richter, Kendra Schuldt, Gabe Seude, Jess Sinkie, Haylee Constant, Mason Berens, Ashlyn Roudabush, Caymin Blindauer, Caleb Robideau, Riley Crago and Lilly Crago, all of Mitchell; Jadin Hartman, Brynna Sinkie, Jake Storm, Kory Storm and Luke Storm, all of Mount Vernon; Cole Carstens and Ashley Carstens, both of Dimock; and Avery Mueller and Sadie Mueller, both of Ethan.

Helping at this year's Davison County Farmers Union Camp were education director Nancy Mueller, senior youth Braeden Walton, and summer staff interns Hannah Lily and Nicole Seible.
