Special Meeting, Ethan Town Board, 1/24/2023 The Town of Ethan board met in special session on January 24, 2023, at 7:10 pm in the Ethan City Hall. Trustees present were Gregg Thibodeau, Megan Perry, Bob Riggs and Raquel Nesheim. City personnel present: Dave Duba and Michele Pollreisz. Not present: Jason Koch Chairman Thibodeau called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance. All motions were unanimously voted as aye unless stated otherwise. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Agenda was to corrected to add discussing allowing chickens in city limits and Donald McBrayer’s hourly wage under New Business.. Corrected agenda approved on motion by Perry, second by Nesheim. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS: Motion by Perry, second by Riggs, to approve claims: None FINANCE OFFICER REPORT: None CITIZEN INPUT: None OLD BUSINESS: Purchasing a new tractor: Discussion was held on the quote received from C&B to update our existing tractor to a larger model. Motion was made by Nesheim, second by Riggs, to trade in existing tractor to purchase a 2022 John Deere tractor and loader. NEW BUSINESS Chickens allowed in City limits: Tabled until next meeting to get further information regarding policies in surrounding communities. Donald McBrayer’s hourly wage: Discussed and approved on motion by Nesheim, second by Riggs to increase wages from $14.00 an hour to $20.00 an hr. Perry abstained from voting Executive Session: none The next board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15th,2023 at 6:00 pm. Motion by Perry, second by Nesheim, to adjourn at 7:40 pm.
