PUBLIC NOTICE

The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from the City of Mitchell to construct the East Central Drainage Basin Stormwater Improvements Project in Mitchell, South Dakota. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, EDA is conducting an environmental assessment (EA) of the proposed project.
The project will involve stormwater, wastewater, and water utility upgrades primarily within an area bounded by Havens Street, Juniper Street, Main Street, and Langdon Street. Project information is available for review at the City Planning Office, City of Mitchell, 612 N. Main Street, Mitchell, South Dakota, (605) 995-8420.
