Notice is hereby given that Davison County will sell by sealed bids the following described surplus property, appraised, to-wit:
Unit #104 - 2014 Caterpillar 140M2 Motor Grader - SERIAL #0M9J00800 - Estimated hours on meter 6,600- No attachments are included

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Davison County, Mitchell, South Dakota, in the office of the County Auditor until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Davison County Commission meeting.
Sealed bids should be accompanied by a bid bond/surety bond. Bid bonds may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bank draft. The bid bond is to be in an amount equal to 5% of the amount and the check is to be certified and/or issued by either a State or National Bank and made payable to Davison County as a guarantee that such bidders will enter into a contract. In lieu of a bid check the bidder may submit a surety bond for 10% of the amount bid or the amount of $1,000.00. The surety is payable to Davison County as a guarantee that such bidders will enter into a contract. Payment for equipment won must be in full before possession will be given.
All bids must be sealed and marked "SURPLUS PROPERTY BID SPECIFY UNIT BID"
Sales Tax is applicable.
The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
