President Ryan Youngstrom call a special meeting of the Board of Education of the Mount Vernon School District #17-3 to order at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2020 in the Afterschool Room at the Mount Vernon School.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Members present: Ryan Youngstrom, Dale Larsch, Deb Stoltz, Jeff Miiller, and Craig Pickart.
Others present: Supt./ K-5 Principal Patrick Mikkonen and Teresa Wessel, Business Manager
There were no conflicts of interest.
Dale Larsch made a motion to approve the agenda for the special meeting on Monday, March 30, 2020. Jeff Miiller seconded. Motion 3-30-2020-1
Dale Larsch made a motion to accept the resignation from Stacy Uttecht-elementary teacher. Craig Pickart seconded. Motion 3-30-2020-2
Craig Pickart made a motion to issue contracts to administration, certified, and classified staff for 2020-2021. Deb Stoltz seconded. Motion 3-30-2020-3
Ryan Youngstrom made a motion to enter executive session at 7:31 p.m. for personnel: 1-25-2-1 and negotiations: 1-25-2-4. Jeff Miiller seconded. Motion 3-30-2020-4
The Mount Vernon Board of Education exited executive session at 9:05 p.m.
Ryan Youngstrom made a motion to adjourn at 9:06 p.m. Jeff Miiller seconded. Motion 3-30-2020-5
