The Corn Palace has announced its festival lineup Monday, with country stars Clint Black and Trace Adkins highlighting the 2019 Corn Palace Festival shows.

Black will headline the Friday, Aug. 23 show, which starts at 7 p.m. Adkins will be the main act for the Saturday, Aug. 24 show, which starts at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25’s show - a 4 p.m. start - will be led by Blood, Sweat and Tears, with The Box Tops serving as the opener.

Black, who was named the Country Music Association's Male Vocalist of the Year in 1990, has had more than 30 singles on the U.S. Billboard country charts, 22 of which have reached No. 1, including “A Better Man,” “Killin’ Time,” “A Good Run of Bad Luck,” “Summer’s Comin,’” and “Nothin’ but the Taillights.” His career also includes seven Platinum-certified albums, as well. Tickets for Black’s show start are $42 to $55 for reserved seating.

On Saturday, the ACM and Grammy nominated Adkins will take the stage. He has charted more than 20 singles on the Billboard country music charts, including No. 1 hits “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing”, “Ladies Love Country Boys” and “You’re Gonna Miss This.” Ticket prices for Adkins show start at $45 to $58, and the show includes a VIP standing room section option.  

Friday and Sunday tickets are reserved seating, while Saturday’s Adkins show includes reserved, standing room and the VIP standing room option at the front of the stage.

On Sunday, jazz-rock group Blood, Sweat and Tears will take the stage. The band formed in 1967 and fuses rock, blues, pop music with horn and jazz arrangements. Their top-40 hits include “Spinning Wheel”, “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy”, “Hi-De-Ho” and “When I Die.”   The Box Tops will serve as the opening act, singing their collection of songs, which includes eight top-40 hits including “The Letter.” Tickets for the show run from $42 to $52.
