Student debaters from Mitchell High School took part recently in three competitions, bringing home several top finishes in a variety of categories.

Monday, November 7th - Roosevelt Novice Tournament
- Talon Fenski and Noah Larson went 3-1 in Public Forum, receiving an award
Friday, November 11th - Washington Warrior Tournament at Sioux Falls Washington
- Shawn Boehmer - 6th in Domestic Extemp

- Alexis Korzan - 1st in Varsity Informative Speaking

- Jordyn Wilson - 5th in Novice Extemp

Saturday, November 12th Roosevelt Sweetstakes at Roosevelt High School

- Greyce Northrup and Jordyn Wilson were semi-finalists in Public Forum Debate and walked away with 3rd place
- Alexis Korzan was 1st in Student Congress
- Julia Miller was 3rd in Student Congress
The next tournament is this weekend in Mitchell, where Mitchell High School is hosting the 30th Annual McGovern Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
