LIVESTREAM: Mitchell Board of Education to review bids for new high school

Special meeting to cover base bids and alternatives

MITCHELL — The Mitchell Board of Education on Thursday night will review base bids and alternates at a special meeting of the board.

The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in Room 110 at the Mitchell Career & Technical Education Academy.

Puetz Design and Build and the Schemmer architectural firm will review submitted bids and Puetz’s identification of the successful low bidders. Steve Culhane, business manager for the district, and Joe Graves, outgoing superintendent for the Mitchell School District, will review figure totals as well as revenue sources and recommend bid approvals, rejections and/or other relevant motions regarding the construction bids, according to the meeting agenda.
