MITCHELL — Anthony Geist, Tucker Pitz, Zachery Huff and Sean Pitz take full advantage of the fresh snow and the time off from school and go sledding.

Here are some photos of them as they sled down a hill along the South Dakota Highway 37 bypass on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023, in Mitchell.

Adam Thury joined the Mitchell Republic in March of 2022. He was born and raised in Mitchell, S.D., and graduated from Mitchell High School in 2015.
