The Mitchell Food Pantry will once again be giving away food boxes next week.
The pantry will be handing out boxes of non-perishable food, a produce bag, a frozen box and eggs beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9 in the Slumberland parking lot in Mitchell. Boxes will be limited to one per household and two maximum per vehicle.
Organizers request that participants arrive at the start time of the distribution as opposed to lining up prior to the event. Those attending should enter on Main Street and exit on North Rowley Street. Please have the vehicle trunk open with space made to place the boxes.
