Friend de Coup is already back to its winning ways.
The Mitchell High School show choir won first runner up, best choreography and the audience-voted fan favorite award in its first competition of the year at Millard West High School in Omaha. Tessa Yeo was also named best female soloist in Saturday's competition.
"Competing against some of the best schools in Nebraska on our first outing was a great way to start the season," said Jen Randall, director of Friend De Coup. "Our kids were very well prepared and blew everyone away with their artistry and heart. We can't wait to do it all again at Omaha Westside next weekend."
The event at Omaha's Westside High School will be held on Jan. 27.
