Shirley Weisser and her donkey won first place at the 12th annual Delmont New Year’s Eve Day parade. The theme was Farming Past and Present with around 200 people attending. Parade marshals were Dick and Earla Strid. Afterwards, the Simply SD Tasting and Made Event featured local jams, pies, breads, wooden chests and benches, jewelry, paintings and kuchen, sponsored by Delmont Development Corp.
