Mitchell man charged with wife’s suffocation death

Parkston edges Wagner 2-1

DIMOCK — The Parkston baseball team edged Wagner 2-1 Wednesday in the first round of division play.

Parkston’s Spencer Lucas went four innings, giving up one run on three hits. He had six strikeouts. Dillon Stadlman threw in relief, giving up no hits, one walk and struck out three to give him the win.

Zach Scott had a single, double, walk, an RBI and scored a run. He scored the winning run on a Jake Weber squeeze play in the bottom of the sixth.

Wagner’s David Kocer took the loss, throwing a complete six innings.

Parkston (14-0) plays Hanson County at 7:30 p.m. in Dimock.
