Canistota falls to Timber Lake

ABERDEEN -- Canistota dropped the consolation game against Timber Lake 64-52 on Saturday at the Class B state tournament at Wachs Arena.

Connor Carlson netted 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Tyce Ortman added 10 points for the Hawks, who finish the season 21-5. 

Timber Lake's Brayden PayPay poured in 28 points and knocked down four 3-pointers. Tucker Kraft scored 14 points. Jackson Harrison added 11 for Timber Lake (20-4).

Timber Lake led from wire to wire and built a 33-25 halftime lead. The Panthers shot 51 percent from the field, while Canistota shot 38 percent from the floor.
