DWU falls to Briar Cliff for third loss in four matches
SIOUX CITY, Iowa—Dakota Wesleyan University has now lost three of its last four volleyball matches thanks to a four-set loss to Briar Cliff in Great Plains Athletic Conference action, 25-18, 25-14, 22-25 and 25-20.
Rebecca Frick had a strong night in defeat for the Tigers, recording 19 kills and 13 digs. Sara Herman had a match-high 19 digs, while Bridgett Knobbe dished out 22 assists.
Courtney Schafer had an efficient night for Briar Cliff (7-3), coming up with 19 kills on 30 attempts, while Delaney Meyer had 25 assists and 10 digs.
DWU falls to 10-3 overall and 0-2 in GPAC play. The Tigers are back in action on Thursday with another conference tilt, this time against Mount Marty at the Corn Palace.
