WINNER—The Parkston Trojans shot a 352 to run away with the team title at the Winner Invitational on Tuesday at the Winner Country Club. Chamberlain's 392 was four shots behind Mobridge-Pollock as the Cubs took third.
The individual standings were scattered with Trojans in the top 10. Quinn Bormann led the team with a second-place finish as his 86 edged teammate Braden Bruening by one stroke. Both shot a 42 on the back nine. Carter Kalda (89 strokes) finished in sixth, followed by Kaleb Weber and Payton Koehn both carding a 90. Matt Ehler rounded out the top 10 at 91 strokes for Parkston.
Despite Parkston's dominance, it was Chamberlain's Cameron Caldwell who won the individual title. He shot an 83 to win by three strokes, thanks in part to carding a 38 on the back nine. Gage Watson, of Winner, barely missed the top 10 as his 92 placed him in 12th.
