Plankinton grad Karst receives SDIAA scholarship
SIOUX FALLS—Terry Rotert, President of the South Dakota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, announced the names of the recipients of the annual SDIAA Scholarships. Six scholarships in the amount of $750 were presented to student-athletes.
Kaden Karst, a 2017 graduate of Plankinton High School and a member of the boys basketball team, was one of those scholarship recipients. He is the son of Todd and Michelle Karst and intends to attend South Dakota State University to major in general engineering.
Scholarships also went to Erin Barrie, a 2016 graduate of Hitchcock-Tulare, Devin Eppard (Chester Area, class of 2017), Emily McDonald (2017 graduate of Tri-Valley), Emily Messmer (Harding County, class of 2017) and Mailey Moore (Watertown, class of 2017).
