Tiger women move up to No. 6, DWU men receiving votes

The Dakota Wesleyan University women's basketball team moved up two spots in the latest NAIA Division II coaches top 25 poll, announced on Tuesday.

DWU (7-1) is ranked No. 6 and received 261 votes in the poll. The Tigers were tabbed No. 8 in the preseason poll on Oct. 24.

In the men's poll, DWU (6-4) fell from No. 10 to receiving votes. It's the first time since the 2014-15 preseason poll that the Tiger men are not ranked in the Top 25. Great Plains Athletic Conference foe Northwestern (9-0) gained the top spot in the poll.
